The face of war protesters

People protesting war with Iraq have desecrated a September 11th memorial. And police who witnessed it didn’t arrest them because they said it was free speech and “for this to be vandalism, there had to be an ill-will intent.” Destruction of private property is not ill-will intent? So if I disagree with my neighbor’s support for a particular political candidate, I can go on his property and destroy his campaign signs?

But the main point is that some people opposed to war expressed their dissatisfaction by spitting on thousands of people murdered by terrorists and the victims’ families. How dare those victims provide a reason for the War on Terror by their deaths!
