I find it highly amusing, watching secular pundits tell the Catholic Church how to order herself, how to practice her faith. Brian Murphy, a political columnist in New Jersey runs out the same old, tired cliches against the Church for daring to proclaim who may receive her most Holy Sacrament. Never mind that he doesn’t even seem to get basic facts rights (for one thing, he calls Bishop Galante a Texas transplant, when he’s originally from the area in the first place. He was born in Philadelphia.)
Thankfully, a reader gives a concise and clear response to the reporter’s bloviations.
