The Washington Times is going to be running a story tomorrow that a law firm representing ten people has told the Archdiocese of Washington that it must “accept responsibility” for “a history of abuse and negligent supervision comparable to that of Boston.”
The Greenberg Traurig law firm—one of major firms involved in the Boston $85 million settlement—that several of its clients were involved in a sex ring in Prince George’s County parish over a 20-year period. This doesn’t sound like it just involves young children or teens. Is this the expose of a gay sex ring? Of course, if it does involve adults, you’d be hard-pressed to prove abuse if they had consented to the activities. I guess we’ll get more details on Wednesday.
