Forgot to mention this yesterday only because it was completely expected.
The Constitutional Convention of the Massachusetts Legislature convened yesterday as scheduled to consider the constitutional amendment on defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. They immediately adjourned until June 14 at which time Senate President Therese Murray, who by law presides over the convention, they will hold a vote.
Which is pretty much what I thought was going to happen. We’ll check back in on Flag Day.
