It seems we are living in a new era, not by the rule of law and representative goverment, but by judicial fiat that conforms to certain liberal preconceptions. Case in point: A judge has allowed a lawsuit to proceed against the manufacturer of the rifle used in the Maryland sniper case based on “hypothetical facts.” And those “facts” were provided by a gun control group that is leading the legal assault.
Okay, I’ll accept that. I guess I overstated the degree to which it’s judicial overreach. Still don’t you think the case is so flimsy as to warrant dismissal, at least from what you read in the linked article?
