The Boston Globe offers yet another article on the closing of St. Albert parish in Weymouth, Mass. This is the third just about the now-homeless Voice of the Faithful chapter. Okay, we’ve got the story! Enough!

If this isn’t cheerleading by a newspaper, I don’t know what is. The VOTF members are whining about not being welcomed at other parishes like all the other activities of St. Albert’s. Actually, the promise was that all “legitimate” ministries would be welcomed in remaining parishes. No parish should be forced to take in a group like VOTF which is a front organization for dissidence.

    Must make it quite scary
For handlers that plan her exposure.

    Their plan to be guarded
    She somewhere discarded
    In favor of total disclosure.

    Teresa Heinz Kerry
    Seems really not very
    Attached to First Lady discretion.

    Except on her taxes
    Her candor just waxes
She seems to prize every transgression.

    Teresa Heinz Kerry
    Is not some canary
With strictures on how she’ll converse.

She’ll tell those who bait her
    Or might aggravate her
To mind their own business – or worse.

    Teresa Heinz Kerry
    Had delegates wary
When up to the platform she strode.

    The speech was successful
    But some find her stressful
    Loose canons can always explode.
