What a dope. In the 30 months following Dec. 7, 1941, there were more Japanese attacks on the US than in the 30 months previous. Were we losing the war? Of course not! The battle has been engaged. The enemy is desparate and fighting back in a last gasp. Would Bradley prefer if we had gone and hid after 9/11?
The reason we include them as our enemy in the war is because they’re dangerous, but now we have them reacting and fighting a retreat. We are fighting on our terms now, not theirs.
A cornered rat fights fiercest just before it’s speared at the last. The end is coming for al Quaida, sooner or later.
