Why is it when Christians oppose embryonic stem-cell research, cloning, and other attempts to manipulate human life, we are derided as anti-science and fundamentalists who want to take us back to the Dark Ages, but when liberals oppose science (nuclear power, genetically modified food, nanotechnology, the biotech industry, etc.) they are simply acting on principle?
Ah, never mind, I know the answer already.
I must have missed one of those: what do liberals not like about nanotechnology?
They think little tiny nanorobots will get loose and turn us all into the Borg or something. I saw a link on InstaPundit to a protest at a nanotechnology conference.
That’s because little tiny nanorobots *will* get loose and turn them into Borg. How can you possibly doubt such an outcome? In fact, it has already happened and they are trying to warn you! And you won’t listen! And you deny it on this powerful and influential blog so that others won’t be warned also…
Sorry, my fingers twitched.
You will be assimilated into the Catholic Church. Resistance—and heterodox dissent—is futile.
