That group of Dallas Catholics who want Bishop Charles Grahmann to finally resign have their petition web site up. I agree with them that Bishop Grahmann has been a problem for Dallas and that he should step aside in favor of his coadjutor bishop. And as for a popular uprising of people asking for relief from a bad bishop, well that has a historical precedent going back to the early days of the Church. One thing to note that sets these people apart from groups like Voice of the Faithful is that are willing to state they are faithful Catholics who do not dissent from the Church’s teachings.
