As the votes fall

Would you believe liberal Massachusetts would elect a Republican governor for the fourth consecutive time (albeit four different governors), nearly abolished the income tax (53-47%), and casts out bilingual education by a 2:1 margin? I think conventional wisdom is not quite so cast in stone as so many political pundits think. I think convincing people of the conservative platform is a matter of framing the debate and getting the truth of the message out there. Even so-called reliable liberals will vote conservatively under the right circumstances. Perhaps a lesson for pro-lifers is in there.
